You should buy a map of Southern Ireland. I would recommend 'The Complete Atlas of Ireland' produced by the Ordinance Survey Office. The 2 maps on the right show the location of the lodge.

If travelling from Cork the most direct, and scenic, route to the lodge is to take the regional road R579 which will take you to Banteer. You go straight through the village and over Banteer Bridge that straddles the beat. At the crossroads go left and the lodge is on the right hand side of the road about 300 metres up.

If travelling from Dublin you take the main road as if you are travelling to Cork. At Mitchelstown take a right onto the N73. When you hit the N72 go right towards Mallow. Carry on through Mallow, staying on the N72, and Ballymaquirk Bridge is approximately 20km on. The lodge is a further 500 metres on the right hand side of the road.
